There are two choices a team can make when one of their players is running late and won't arrive in time for the escape game start.

Fox in a Box - Chicago strives to give all customers the very best escape room experience. As part of this it is important that all our guests are punctual so that everyone can start their scheduled games on time. Nevertheless, we realize that sometimes a person can be stuck in unusually heavy traffic or public transit is interrupted or a range of other factors occur that are out of a person's control. In these situations there are a couple options that waiting group members can choose to do:

  1. You can have your group wait until the person arrives. In this case, you will be losing time that you are in the room, as follow-on games must start at their scheduled times.
  2. Your (incomplete) group can decide to start on time. This allows those who were punctual to have the full hour experience in the escape room. When your tardy team member arrives, that person can join your game.
