Our team has done dozens of escape rooms, and this has got to be one of the best. Game master Adam showed us such a spectacular time that we pleaded with the manager to let us stick around and try out The Bunker. Both of our game masters were witty, amiable, and skilled at catering our experience to our style. The rooms themselves are designed well and have clever puzzles with a clear trajectory. I highly recommend Fox in a Box!

Escape Room
Concept

Escape Rooms are ideal for corporate events as they make fun team-building activities. Working together in teams allows you to use logic and creative thinking and improve communication. These are all key skills needed to be able to solve a variety of clues and puzzles to achieve the game room’s objective! You must think outside of the box because not everything is as simple as it appears!

During the game, players will be pushed to challenge themselves, express innovative ideas and connect with everyone in the room. Forget the everyday team office hierarchy, and collaboration is the key to escape where you will be immersed into a unique story! Plus, it is a fun group activity!

Coming together to solve a challenging, but tractable problem gets a team working together

And having saved the world (or escaped a killer), breaks down barriers between silos which is the crucial step to operate as a team

Fox in a Box can come to you! With "The Final Exam" we can come to your location and up to 15 people can play simultaneously in a 5 on 5 head to head match. You will have to supply the conference room. With "The Final Exam" Fox in a Box can supply a team building adventure for up to 90 people per day at a location of your choosing.

Getting Started

Q: Where is Fox in a Box - Chicago?

A: In the Printers Row neighborhood just south of the loop. Just south of Ida B. Wells and west of Lake Shore Drive, it's easily accessible from any of the suburbs with minimal stoplights as well as anywhere in Chicago.

Q: How many people can you handle?

A: We've handled 40, 80 and even 120 at our facility. And we've done events over multiple days with our Final Exam at client's locations for up to 300 people.

Q: Are team building activities effective?

A: Research suggests that team building activities are a good way to get your team bonding and improve performance and communication. They also help in increasing team morale and boosting productivity. Plus, it is a fun activity to take the steam off for employees and employers after a hectic work schedule.

Q: How do we book rooms?

A: If you're looking for an event with more than 1 room (having more than 6 people in your group), your best bet is to call us at 312-787-7899 so we can discuss, understand and support your needs.

Q: What will it cost?

A: Prices vary depending on the day of the week, time of day and size of the group. In addition, prices can change if you want to start at an exact time, you would like the group to start simultaneously, or are OK starting at different times. Call 312-787-7899 to discuss your needs.

Q: When to book?

A: As soon as possible. Our rooms are booked up weeks and months ahead of time for key dates. If trying to schedule around a 1 day conference, book now.

Q: How many rooms do you have?

A: We have 5 different room experiences

Q: Can we all play the same room?

A: We can handle up to 15 people all in the same room for one of our rooms. Our other rooms maximum will be 6-7 players. Having played more than a hundred rooms, we believe that small rooms are the best possible experience.

Q: Will our rooms be private?

A: Rooms at Fox in a Box have always been private as we believe that is the best possible experience.

Fox in a Box Escape Room Chicago is located in the lower level of Dearborn Galleria. To find us, look for the Roots Pizza across from Dearborn Station. We are in the big red Dearborn Station building with a clock tower -- go in under the clock tower and walk to the sign with our logo near the stairs and follow instructions.
