Yes, a parent (or at least one adult) must be in the escape room when children 12 to 14 years old are playing.
As the adult in the room, it is your choice of whether to actively participate in solving the mission or not, however you are required to pay as you must be in the room.
Here are the details concerning our other age restrictions and requirements for adult supervision:
- 11 years and younger: We require that one adult be in the room for every participant who is 11 years old and younger. A parent, guardian or other adult is required to sign a liability release form for each person under the age of 18.
- 15 to 17 years old: An adult is not required to be in the room, however a parent, guardian or other adult must sign a liability release waiver on behalf of each player who is under the age of 18. If the adult chooses to be in the room, they will be required to pay regardless of whether they actively participate in the game or not.
