CHICAGO BOUND BLOG: WE'RE ONE OF CHICAGO'S BEST INDOOR ATTRACTIONS!

Guess which escape room they played…Can you win that game?

Imagine being recognized -

Not for saving dolphins,

Or for climbing a mountain…

But for locking people inside a room.

Yep, that’s what we’ve been recognized for…

Chicago Bound has just featured us - Fox in a Box Escape Room - as one of the BEST indoor attractions in Chicago!

Nope, not kidding - Here’s our trophy!

Chicago Bound recently updated their blog post on the absolute best indoor things to do in Chicago (check it out here)...

And they featured us at 4th place, just below the Museum Campus, Field Museum, and Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Which means, we get to display that trophy you see above on our website!

Which escape game did Chicago Bound play with us?

From inside our Zodiac Killer Escape Game.

Well, they tried our Zodiac escape room.

In some respects, it’s our most intense adventure.

Trapped in a psychopath’s lair, you have to figure out how to escape while wondering if this is the infamous serial killer from California.

It’s our ONLY room that’s 18+, without exceptions.

What did they like most about it?

Exploring an oven in Zodiac Killer.

Overall, Chicago Bound found it an awesome experience.

Especially the perfect balance of hints - helpful if you’re in a rut, but without giving the entire show away.

They also liked our game masters, who work hard behind the scenes to improve player experience and make the game come alive.

Finally, they found that our experience is affordable and value for money.

Interesting! What about other platforms?

I’m glad you asked!

We’re rated 5.0 on both Google and Yelp and have 2.4K+ reviews on Google to boot.

Oh, and we’re ranked #1 in the categories “Escape Rooms” and “Fun & Games” in Chicago on TripAdvisor.

What about our other escape rooms?

From inside The Prison, another of our escape rooms.

Can you guess which game this is?

Apart from Zodiac Killer, we have 3 other escape room adventures for you to choose from -

The Bank: Ocean’s 11 fans will like this one! The manager has a stash of diamonds squirreled away. Can you and your team find it and high-tail it out of there before the guards catch you?

The Prison: Remember Prison Break? Here’s your chance to live it out IRL - Stuck in a maximum security jail cell, can you take advantage of a riot and find a way out?

The Bunker: It’s the 1970s, at the height of the Cold War. A double agent may have triggered a nuclear weapons launch that could prove catastrophic. Can you and your team infiltrate the bunker and stop it?

Child-Friendly Rooms: Our escape games are mostly geared towards adults and young adults. While children can take part (apart from Zodiac), the clues and gameplay may be too complex for young minds.

That’s where our child-friendly rooms come in. With less complex clues and gameplay, they prove a hit with kids and teens playing on their own. Adults do need to wait in the lobby, though.

Nearby dining options?

Pizza oven.

Want to make it a bigger night out? Take your pick!

Roots Handmade Pizza: Known for their quad city and taco pizzas, mozzarella sticks, and craft beers - all served under a retractable roof.

Lou Malnati’s: Perhaps the best place in the world to get Chicago-style deep-dish pizza (along with in-house sauces, of course!) You should also try out their bruschetta and calamari.

Devil Dawgs on State: They’re to Chicago-style dogs what Lou Malnati’s are to deep-dish pizza. Add in sliders and milkshakes and you’ve got yourself a complete Chicago dinner!

Half Sour: Looking for delish deli cuisine like bagels, cheese curd, and latke? Head for this laidback restaurant, a fifteen-minute walk from Grant Park (Michigan Avenue / Ida B. Wells Drive entrance).

Bar Louie: Prefer a gastropub with martinis, microbrews, and bourbon? Head for Bar Louie on Printers Row.

Great! What now?

Well, you could check out what’s coming out on Netflix…OR

You could gather a team of family members, friends, and even colleagues,

Browse our escape games,

Choose one,

And make a booking!

See whether you agree with Chicago Bound that we’re truly one of the best indoor activities in Chicago!
